Eleftho is the official scientific journal published by the Association of Scientists-Midwives/Midwives Association of Athens (SEMMA).
Eleftho is published only in electronic form and publishes scientific work from the field of midwifery, obstetrics - gynecology and related sciences.
With the first issue published in 1957, the journal has a history of more than 50 years of publishing research and policy papers on the practice of Midwifery. Since 2022 the journal has moved to a fully open access format and has opened up to international submissions.
